Therm process Engineering Pvt. Ltd. designs and manufactures industrial burners for furnaces, boilers, bake ovens and rotary kilns. The range covers gas burners (LPG, CNG, PRG, CBM and Bio-CNG), oil burners (LDO, FO, HSD and LSHS), dual-fuel gas-and-oil burners, and monoblock burners for producer gas, biogas, Bio-CNG and coal gas. It also includes burners for rotary kilns. Because Therm process also builds furnaces, its burners are selected and tuned for real furnace duty rather than as standalone catalogue items. Tell us your application and fuel to get the right burner.

What Is an Industrial Burner?

An industrial burner mixes fuel with combustion air and burns it in a controlled flame to supply heat to a furnace, boiler, oven or kiln. A good burner does four things well:

  • Mixes fuel and air in the right ratio, for complete combustion without excess air losses.
  • Shapes the flame to suit the chamber: long or short, luminous or blue, high or low velocity
  • Stays stable across the firing range the process needs.
  • Lights and operates safely, with appropriate ignition and flame supervision

The right burner depends heavily on fuel type and application. Gaseous fuels, heavy oils and low-calorific gases such as producer gas each behave differently. A reheating furnace, an aluminium melting furnace and a bake oven each need a different flame.

Therm process Industrial Burner Range

  • Gas burners : For LPG, CNG, PRG, CBM and Bio-CNG, covering bottled and piped gases through to renewable gas.
  • Oil burners : For LDO, FO, HSD and LSHS, supported by Therm process heating and pumping units for heavy oils.
  • Dual-fuel burners : For gas and oil, letting plants switch fuel based on availability and cost.
  • Monoblock burners : For producer gas, biogas, Bio-CNG and coal gas. These suit plants with their own gasifiers or low-calorific gas supply.
  • Burners for rotary kilns : Across its furnace range, Therm process also supplies radiant tube burners, self-recuperative burners, blue flame gas burners and auto-ignition burners for bell annealing furnaces. Its aluminium melting furnaces use its super low speed luminous flame burners. Burner systems can be supplied with Therm process combustion blowers, gas trains, ratio regulators, oil micro valves, limiting orifice valves, motorised air, gas and oil valves, burner nozzles and ignition electrodes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What types of industrial burners does Therm process manufacture?
Therm process manufactures gas burners, oil burners, dual-fuel burners, monoblock burners and rotary kiln burners. It also supplies radiant tube, self-recuperative, blue flame and auto-ignition burners.
Q2. Which fuels can Therm process burners use?
Gas burners run on LPG, CNG, PRG, CBM and Bio-CNG. Oil burners run on LDO, FO, HSD and LSHS. Monoblock burners handle producer gas, biogas, Bio-CNG and coal gas.
Q3. What is a dual-fuel burner?
A dual-fuel burner can fire on both gas and oil. This lets a plant switch between fuels depending on availability or cost without changing the burner.
Q4. Can burners be retrofitted to an existing furnace?
Yes. Therm process supplies burners for new furnaces and for replacing burners on existing furnaces, including fuel conversions.
Q5. Where are industrial burners used?
They are used in furnaces, boilers, bake ovens, rotary kilns and preheaters across steel, forging, aluminium, heat treatment and process industries.
